The articles below are taken from a number of sources. Some were published in ELT News & Views, a publication for teachers of English in the cono sur. Some were published in the Buenos Aires Herald, under the headings of 'Focus on English', 'Learning in the Limelight', 'English and Education' and various education supplements.

ELT News & Views (N&V) was a publication for teachers of English in the cono sur, and was published from 1994 to 2000. A full set is archived at the University of Warwick's ELT Archive. The Buenos Aires Herald (BAH) was published as a newspaper from 1876 to 2017, and is now delivering online only (see here). Its archives are not currently open to the public.

In Argentina I have also published articles in English and in Spanish in Argentine News, the British Community Council Bulletin, Collegium, the IATEFL Argentina Newsletter, Vivir, After Hours, High College, Educación Contínua, Idiomanía, The Hermetic Garage, The Inner Eye, the ELT Journal and the IPEI Newsletter. In the UK I have published articles in IATEFL's Newsletter and several IATEFL SIG publications, the English Language Teaching Journal, the EFL Gazette, MATSDA's journal Folio, Modern English Teacher, English Live and the FELT newletter in Ireland.

The articles I have published cover all aspects of teaching, learning and language, and are shared here publicly at no charge, as a service to teachers. Click on the links below and the files will open in the same window - you can use the browser back button to get back to where you were. If you have difficulty getting through email me here.

In the four columns below, marked S, T, Tr and G, I have indicated with a • whether the articles would be better appreciated by Students (S), Teachers (T), Translators (TR) or whether they would be of general interest (G). Obviously there is often an overlap.

If you are interested in classes or workshops in Advanced English, perhaps CPE or English for Academic purposes, please follow this link. For random exercises aimed at advanced learners of English click here.
