The ListThe ELT News & Views e-list N&V-L was an information and discussion list for those interested in the teaching of English in South America. The list started in November in January 1997 and closed down in April 2000. It was an early and unsophisticated example of a users' list, at a time when such things were still new. Posts to the original list from January 1977 to November 1998 can be accessed here. These have not yet been sorted into months and this is a long and unwieldy PDF document that has suffered some damage. It is included here for the sake of completeness. The list was redesigned in November 1998 and can be accessed by clicking on the monthly links in the box below. There were no January posts. All messages are as posted, and contain typos and other errors. Neither ELT News & Views nor its editor, Martin Eayrs, take responsibility for information provided or views expressed. Although no longer active this earlier archive is maintained as a tribute to the endeavours of teachers in the Cono Su. |
